Personnel Assistant II – Military Personnel Program Support & Data Analysis

Clearance: **Must have an active Secret Security Clearance**

Work location: Dyess Air Force Base, Abilene, Texas – Onsite 5 days a week

Position Description:
Network Runners, Inc. is seeking a Personnel Assistant II to provide intermediate-level administrative and customer service support for Air Force personnel operations at Dyess AFB. This role builds on the foundational responsibilities of Personnel Assistant I, with added emphasis on program management support, complex customer service interactions, and data accuracy in support of military, veteran, and dependent benefits. The Personnel Assistant II will apply knowledge of Air Force personnel programs, policies, and data integrity standards to support smooth operational outcomes.
 
Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Provide front desk reception support, including greeting visitors and managing check-in procedures.
  • Perform ID card processing and issuance using the DEERS/RAPIDS system.
  • Conduct basic data entry, updates, and verification in support of personnel recordkeeping.
  • Ensure adherence to Privacy Act policies and procedures while handling personal information.
  • Communicate effectively with service members, dependents, and internal personnel.
  • Maintain an organized and professional front desk environment and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Provide direct customer support, including resolution of complex personnel-related inquiries and benefit issues.
  • Support Air Force personnel programs through data validation, program tracking, and report generation.
  • Conduct routine and advanced data entry and data analysis to ensure record accuracy and compliance with Air Force standards.
  • Assist with managing multiple personnel programs and ensure adherence to applicable military regulations.
  • Operate DEERS/RAPIDS systems for ID card issuance and records updates.
  • Maintain compliance with security, privacy, and system access protocols.
  • Support Site Security Manager responsibilities, including access control procedures and documentation accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in personnel, administrative, or customer service roles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in customer service, data entry, problem-solving, and multi-tasking across programs.
  • Working knowledge of Air Force personnel programs, military/veteran and dependent benefits, and data integrity standards.
Education: 
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
